How The WABT Engine Operates

The WABT platform will allow nearly 100,000 deaf individuals across the UK to be able to communicate natively with non-Signing individuals.
Speaking naturally to others is something non-deaf individuals take for granted, but for the deaf community it can be a daily struggle to be able to communicate freely with others including but not limited to;

Using WABT will save instituations money on interpretors and also allow deaf individuals to have the confidence and freedom to navigate through life as freely as those who are not deaf. WABT will be able to translate Sign language to speech and speech to Sign Language in real-time, allowing for a seamless conversation between deaf and non-deaf individuals.
Currently this is limited to BSL and English (UK) but the platform will be able to translate other Sign Languages and other spoken languages in the future as development continues.
